Meet5 is not only available as an app, but also in your browser. This way, you can comfortably use Meet5 on your laptop, tablet, or PC - ideal for browsing, planning, and especially for creating activities. If you’d like to write longer texts or insert information like restaurant links or maps, you've come to the right place 🙂
Which features are available in the desktop version?
With Meet5 Web, you can browse activity overviews, open activities, join, favorite, and also create them. The most important parts of your profile are also included: logging in, viewing and editing your profile, and setting your location.
Practical: Everything is synchronized. If you create or favorite an activity in the web version, you will immediately see it in the Meet5 app on your phone as well – one account, one community 🧡
For anybody who doesn’t have a Meet5 profile yet but wants to try before downloading, there’s a preview of activities in their area. Important note: to protect the community, the exact meeting points are hidden, and profiles are either hidden or blurred 🔒
I am missing some features!
Some parts of the standard Meet5 experience (e.g., notifications or the "For Me" overview) are still not available on desktop, but we’re working on it. Our mobile app remains the heart of Meet5 – the web version serves as a great addition for all activity creators and regular participants, as well as those who prefer to browse for the latest activities on a PC, tablet, or laptop. Communication in group or private chats, as well as detailed profile settings, will keep their exclusive place in the mobile app.
If you have further questions, feel free to check out other FAQ articles or contact support at support@meet5.com. We look forward to hearing your feedback on the new desktop version - we’ve been excited to share it with you for a while! 👩💻
