Community Captains are a vital part of the Meet5 community. They help shape the local experience, build strong communities, and keep the spirit of Meet5 alive. If you're wondering what it takes to succeed in this role, here's a clear overview of what being a Captain involves and what it doesn't.

Captain Duties:

  2. Participate in your own activities: Be present at your activities to set the tone, encourage conversations, and offer a welcoming environment to all participants.
  3. Be a point of contactEspecially for newcomers, you’re someone users can turn to with questions. If something needs escalation, you can forward concerns to Meet5 support.
  4. Know and follow the community rules: Set a good example by being familiar with the Meet5 community guidelines and consistently applying them in your own behavior.
  5. Create a positive atmosphere: Help shape a respectful, friendly, and inclusive environment. Your energy sets the tone, so stay engaged and foster good vibes.
  6. Inspire others: Encourage others to get involved by organizing their own activities. Captains play a key role in motivating others and growing local activity.

What are not part of your Captain Duties:

  1. Hosting private or invitation-only meetings: As a Captain, your meetings should be open to all users to help expand the community.
  2. Replacing Meet5 support: You’re not expected to handle technical issues or app problems. For anything beyond your role, members should contact support.
  3. Resolving conflicts: Captains are not responsible for handling disputes. If issues arise, they should be reported to the Meet5 support team.
